Shawn moved to North Padre Island in 2010. Prior to moving she owned a boutique in Beeville Texas. After living on the Island for 10 years, she saw a need for an upscale clothing boutique. Being a South Texas native, She wanted to create a lifestyle brand that portrays a mix of South Texas and the Island. The Agave Plant is common in South Texas, so she felt the plant visually captures that special place where South Texas meets the Sea.
